Every Valheim armor set rated S to D in the biome where you can first make it, by its armor at max level next to the most armor you can have by then.
26 armor sets across 8 biomes: 10 S · 4 A · 3 B · 3 C · 6 D. Jump to Meadows, Black Forest, Swamp, Mountains, Plains, Mistlands, Ashlands, Deep North.
Meadows
Most armor by then: Leather (24 at max level)
Black Forest
Most armor by then: Bronze (42 at max level)
Swamp
Most armor by then: Iron (60 at max level)
Mountains
Most armor by then: Iron (60 at max level)
Plains
Most armor by then: Padded (96 at max level)
Mistlands
Most armor by then: Carapace (114 at max level)
Ashlands
Most armor by then: Flametal (132 at max level)
Deep North
Most armor by then: Protector (150 at max level)
Assumptions
- Tier = this set's armor at max level ÷ the most armor any set gives by then: S ≥ 90%, A ≥ 75%, B ≥ 60%, C ≥ 40%, D below.
